Words like Gay and queer and many others have lost their original meanings, to be replaced by definitions that contain baggage that the facts don't support. Homosexuals are not all 'gay' in the original sense, but they are 'queer' by the original definition, but somehow the meanings have been bastardised by having implied connotations attributed depending on who is using them.
