Surely that can’t be legit can it? Not a dig at the investment and newcatsle btw. buying 1 share at such an inflated price that values the company at £319 trillion just doesn’t seem like it can be a legit way of getting money into the club.

Isnt that just the same thing as effectively having your owner sponsor your own club at a hugely inflated figure?

If nobody has then this summer the figure of what's available won't have a damn thing to do with this

 

It's a way to inject funds at short notice. So if a target becomes available then the funds can be released very quickly
