Club finalising plans to release season tickets after talks with NUST. 30,000 current ST holders 3,000 needed for away fans 3,000 needed due to PL rulings for general sale Pot 1 - Those that cancelled Pot 2 - Those with purchase history Pot 3 - Current Season Ticket Holders purchasing for younger fans Pot 4 - General Sale https://www.shieldsgazette.com/spor...mid-extremely-high-interest-from-fans-3730950
Those that cancelled? Don't see why people who cancelled during the Ashley era should get priority. I think those with a good purchase history should get dibs though.
I have a purchase history this season of buying a bunch of tickets, my dads account has a history of a cancelled 16/17 season ticket, our histories are linked together, so if my account is linked to the person who has a cancelled ticket, can I purchase them in pot 1 with my own? Or should I go in on my dads?
No idea, just posted the news story that was running today confirming stuff we had heard previously. 16,000 tickets ain't exactly gonna go far though.
We'll have to wait and see. Personally I think they'd be better off giving about 10k more season tickets out, and then saving about 9-10k for match days. It doesn't seem that fair that there'll be the same people going every week with very few available to those who cannot get a ST. Maybe 39k season tickets, 10k matchday (members get first dibs), then 3k for away fans.
If my dad has a cancelled ST on his account and we link our accounts together and share our history, does that mean I'll get into pot 1 on my account? His ST shows in my history. Or should I log into my dads account you think/? Reason being my dad used his account to get our ST's last time, so my new account has only my newest purchase history, not a ST, except my dads because our accounts are now linked.
Not really though, as history shows there will be a trend for a couple of years where everyone wants to go, then it will settle down. Think they want to avoid touts and this is the best way possible of doing that.
Doesn't your dad have the same history once you linked him? On my dad's now it has all the games we've been to underneath..same as on mine, even though i only created his account at the end of this season.
What I mean is can you utilize the benefits of someone elses history once your accounts are linked? I know they're shared but I don't know if it will give the same benefits on each account as only his has a season ticket cancellation in the history.
I'd just go on his to get best chance Although i have a completely different supporter number to my ST days, hopefully linked by email address
Thing is though, this was only NUST recommendations to the club. Doesn't mean that's what they'll do. Loads of people on-line have said they would prefer the old method. Announce sale date, and tickets to be sold in person from the box office. TOTAL CARNAGE
I think they should give members from last season who only signed up after the takeover priority myself, ain't that right Ben.
Go to the book.nufc.co.uk website, log into your account, look at your history there, if there's no record of your ST/Purhcases, then it would count when you purchase a new ticket.
I noticed on both of our accounts it says we can buy a season ticket for each other, so I might as well go on my dads account as he has a non-renewed season ticket from 2016/17. But I have a purchase history from this season for match tickets. So we'll either get in on pot 1 or 2.
