    I'm not sure how it works - but am sure we sold him to Everton for £35m plus a potential £15m in add-ons, so there surely wouldn't be too much money to come? I thought sell-on clauses only covered the profit made in a sale.

    So that assumes a £15m profit for Everton on the sale? Presumably they didn't pay us any add-ons.

    Did they not? I thought we got something for his international appearances. And was there a thing with number of appearances for Everton? I’m assuming he might not have hit a threshold for that, though.
