It's probably not worth selling Drameh.

He cost us 1m, and if we sell to to a Championship club, they're not gonna pay much more than that.

Total attempts on goal inside penalty area - 27,548 (54.2% of total shots)

Total attempts on target inside penalty area - 10,155 (20% of total shots, 36.8% of total attempts inside area)
Total attempts on target outside penalty area - 5,811 (11% of total shots, 25% of total attempts outside area)

So to summarise, on average :

For every 100 shots outside of the area, there will be three goals scored.
For every 100 shots outside of the area , 25 will be on target, thus 22 of those shots will not result in a goal, whilst 75 will sail into the crowd)
For every 100 shots anywhere on the pitch , 46 of those will be from outside the area, producing 1 goal

For every 100 shots inside the area, there will be 13 goals scored
For every 100 shots inside the area, 35 of them will be on target, meaning 22 will be saved, whilst 65 will hit the woodwork, and fly over the bar etc
For every 100 shots anywhere on the pitch, 54 of them will be from within the penalty area, producing 7 goals

Thus by working the ball into the penalty area from either crossing or retaining possession, you are 7 times more likely to score a goal, than by taking a pot shot from outside the area.

On average a goal will be scored from 7.6 chances within the penalty area, where as to score a goal outside of the penalty area, you need to take on average 33 shots

Player of the season though has to be worth more than that. A club going for promotion might be tempted. Burnley may want him as Taylor might jump ship..... Again.

Well if you glance at the other boards forums there looks to be more activity on here on one thread than on several threads on the others.....a bit poor on a lot of them tbh more of a coffee morning get together once a week on a lot of them

Some of the boards have been like that for years. You should look at the Ipswich board they post 1 comment a season

In the 2013/14 season of the Premier League, there were 24 shots on average per match, 11 of which were from outside the penalty area.

by the 2018/19 season, the average number of shots was still the same at 24, however shots outside the penalty area had reduced to 9 per game

You can now tell your family that you have learnt three things today :
