O'Dowda wouldn't have been top of my wish list but that's based on him playing with a different club. I'm sure SM sees him fitting into his methods. Josh Murphy hoping to get closer to his brother? Big job for the Black Cats to fix his attitude if they take him on
Like I said earlier, he wouldn't have been top of my hit list. His stats aren't brilliant but again as I said before, it's about how he fits in to SM's vision. Morison clearly sees potential.
I'd echo some of what is said above regarding stats. However, he knows the championship, has international experience and is in the right age bracket. Some experience in front of an inexperienced L(W)B. Interesting that the first 4 signings were given 2 year contracts, he's got 3. Welcome to him. All I ask is that he gives his all for the shirt.

Really surprised you signed him-three years done nothing over here-injured more than he plays-like glass.
Cheers. I guess it's about horses for courses. Some players do better at a different club. Staying positive until proven otherwise.
They love our cast-offs down in the valleys, boyo. Pack, Flint, Reid, Tomlin, Cunningham and now O'Dowda.
Of which Cunningham was the only one who didn't make much of a contribution. Injuries and Joe Bennett played a part in that. At least O'Dowda is on a free. The jury is out on what he will do for us but he will be given every chance.
