I could be way off the mark here but regarding Kalvin I cant help thinking. He’s starting to get a reputation as a sick note. If Southgate goes after the next world cup and they get a more attacking minded manager he probably won’t get as many international minutes. Under Marsch’s system I think it’s going to be more difficult for him to stand out, even if he plays well. All of that makes it more likely he spends a lot longer with us but I do worry the lad can’t afford to spend much longer out if he wants to take a step up.
