As I don't own a Hotel in Mayfair or drive an open top bus I have not benefitted from all that lucrative Royal tourism money.

 

I was trying not to mention your current source of income, not to mention the other benefits of money going in to the central pot from taxes raised from tourism etc.

Yup. We all do, as they contribute to the general tax pot.

 

I like the tradition of the Royal family, the bright costumes and fancy nonsense that goes along with it .
Brass bands, 21 gun salutes etc .

It is just a bit depressing that normal people are getting shafted with cost of living going through the roof and tens of millions are being pissed up the wall on Ukraine illegals and frivolous nonsense.

 

I strongly doubt that the Royal family are a net fiscal benefit to Mr and Mrs Smith living in some **** hole Northern hell hole like Middlesbrough.

If they are then I stand corrected but it seems unrealistic, otherwise we may as well build another a few palaces and have more Royal Families like Nigeria where every other ****er I met is a Prince back home.
