Trump was elected and idolised by people who thought he was a great character who would change politics forever ... ... the public responded by replacing him with someone who makes Starmer look charismatic.
Trump got more votes last time than in 2016. Somehow. The Democrats got their supporters voting in greater numbers this time, but Biden is struggling a bit.
Levelling down in the north east. Is anyone really surprised? https://www.newstatesman.com/chart-...own-how-the-uks-regional-divides-are-widening

With due respect though, "the jester" keeps dodging the bullet because people like yourself have decided that despite all of the shady stuff Johnson does, Starmer "isn't credible enough". I'm not sure what exactly about Johnson is credible, but there you go. What would Johnson have to do for you personally, not to vote for him? Or, if it needs to be framed in a different way, what would another party need to do better than the Conservatives currently are for you to switch your vote at the next election?
That’s an easy answer mate, just come up with anything that I like better than what they put forward under Corbyn, in fact just coming up with another policy would be a start other than getting rid of nom dom status. One other thing I don’t know where you’ve got I’m a conservative from.
Lib Dems call for Commons no confidence motion in PM Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey says his party plans to table a parliamentary no-confidence motion in Boris Johnson's government later today. "If it can be debated, I hope a lot of those 148 MPs who don't have confidence in the prime minister will vote with [us] and other opposition parties so we can remove this prime minister," Sir Ed told Sky News earlier. "We need to see [him] gone." The motion is not the same as the Conservatives' vote of confidence last night. And even if it went to a vote, it would be unlikely to gain widespread support, as the Tories still hold a working majority of 75 in the Commons.
Have to say despite the fact that Corbyn, Abbot, Livingston etc get right on my tits I thought there were some decent policies last time. Largely down to McDonnell and Rebecca Long Bailey it seems both of whom I put in the same box as the others but seems they have a bit of nouse. It was largely the annoying clique not the policies I objected to.
I guess I made an assumption that you voted for Johnson at the last election. Apologies if that was incorrect. The good news is that Labour have loads of different policies since Corbyn was in charge so you have plenty of new material to consider before your decision next time. For the record, I'm not totally sold on Starmer and may not vote for him myself, but I prefer substance over style and Starmer has far more integrity which is at least a place to start.
That’s the thing I can’t understand, I didn’t vote for Johnson I voted for the conservatives but in the next election if I like Labour better I will vote for Labour, people seem to think they are your football team and you can’t change.
because they dare not upset the hand that feeds. becoming an MP comes with a lot of benefits and the higher up the ladder the better those benefits...they need to keep the rich happy.
