watched a couple of episodes of the sopranos and now to bed with a really good book by ben aarnovitch,i wish her well but, in all honesty the jubilee has no relevance to me at all, but to those that wish to celebrate it good luck and enjoy,

I can't say I blame you, it was more the music and entertainment content I was interested in, I'm a firm believer in all things for all people.

In London Town, saw the Killers last night. Wife wasn’t happy with the Manic’s supporting AG, so booked tickets for last nights show in the Emirates.
Booked the extra night in Hotel 10 minutes walk from O2, as off to see Queen and Adam Lambert. You can literally see the O2 from our room. Not bad price considering what was going on in London this weekend.

Saw the people all dressed up coming back from last nights Buckingham Palace party.

This weekend has put the faith back into me that the country is very much British-we are being invaded as a island but Brits came together as one this week❤️

    He’s a Moron
I love the Queen and admire what she’s achieved in terms of the stability of the monarchy under sometimes very trying times.
But when she passes, and if it were my choice, then personally I’d skip Charles ever being King and go straight to William and Kate
If the monarchy are to survive then it has a far better chance under them than under Charles and Camilla

The bloke is a disgrace, he does have a point though. I wouldn’t change things as I know lots of people love the royals , and there’s always the question of what to replace it with.

However if you were starting now the concept of royalty would seem ludicrous.

Only right Charles is next in line.
It's our history, not Britains Got Talent.

I like Charles, apart from the Diana marriage part. But he’s always said his heart belonged to Camilla. Everyone laughed at him about environmental issues back in the 80’s possibly before. And that’s turned out to be true.
Always there to step in the Queens place and knowing if he does become King it will be short lived.
That appearance on Eastenders by both him and Camilla showed what sort of people they are joking around.
William will be a great King, but we’ve grown up waiting for Charles so I would be disappointed if it never happens. However it would not surprise me one bit if he does step aside.
Just think if one of them becomes King tomorrow I will be 81 the next jubilee. :emoticon-0104-surpr

never will agree with barton, but he has perhaps some pertinent points,i am ok with the queen, charles and to an extent anne, william.and that line of sucssesion, but now i start to to struggle, what use are andrew, edward and their spoilt and cosseted offspring plus all the dukes, dutchesses, and the other hangers on from a bygone age living in grace and favour acomadation in some the most expensive real estate in the country, things really must change after the queens death, i only hope it can be done and be done peacefully.

I suppose the thing is once you start dissecting it, what is the point of any of them. Once that can of worms is opened why bother at all. I think that’s the way it’s heading, although I don’t think it will be in my life time.

Agree with your comments reference the line further down-they should not be looked after at the tax payers expense.
But Charles and William who will become kings should be.
