That’s it! I think he dismissed them and called the police. No crime committed, but that couldn’t deter Bazza’s defence of his bruised ego. Over to you.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laurence_Bassini Bassini's tenure at Watford was marked by allegations of financial impropriety culminating in the 'Safegate' scandal when just prior to the sale of the club in June 2012 Bassini called the police after an employee refused to hand him the keys to the club safe well done the employee!!!
from the WO: On Monday, Bassini went to Vicarage Road and requested the keys to the safe but it is understood a senior member of staff refused to release them. The Hornets owner then suspended the employee and the police were called to remove the person from the premises. Bassini confirmed this was the case when asked by the Watford Observer. He said: "I asked for my keys to the safe. It is my safe. "The employee wouldn't give them to me. I suspended that person and had the employee escorted from the building by the police." While Bassini confirmed this incident had taken place, he rubbished suggestions HM Revenue and Customs is currently investigating the club for unpaid taxes and national insurance contributions. After the Watford Observer went to press on Thursday evening, Bassini stated: "Utter nonsense. Where are you getting this? There is no truth, it is nonsense."
Thomas de Mahy, Marquis de Favras - who dryly observed that there were 3 spelling mistakes in his death warrant ? Uncertain about this because he went to the guillotine in 1790 as opposed to hanging. just checked up and the guillotine was introduced slightly later, so was it him ?
Cheers BB. Sticking to the same period - who served in the French Parliament (National Convention) without being able to speak French ?
During his life he had 3 nationalities and contributed to famous documents in two of those countries.
