True bill. The last bird was a sectarian bitch but she did loads for cross community relations, she became best buds with one of the UDA brigadiers.

I would rather someone take the mantle that isn't involved with any of that garbage.

I just looked through the thread there Medro. You said that Sinn Fein HAVE to be elected in the north. Eh? No one has to be elected. People and parties put themselves in front of the people and the people cast their vote. No one HAS to be elected. Is this what Unionists tell themselves when hundreds of thousands of people vote Sinn Fein? If that was the case there would be no need for elections. Btw, a quarter of a million adults voted for Marty. That's a lot of people in an election when only about half the voters bothered turning up.

Flush out the negative IRA stuff. Where there positives to their murder campaign?

The people realised they didn't want a thuggish ex-terrorist in charge but I'm sure the next Shinner to go up in the elections will also have their murky history scrutinised and quite rightly so.

Medro why do you ignore the rest of my post and pick up on a single sentence? Irish People have continued to vote McGuinness into the post of First Minister and to the Mid Ulster MP seat. A quarter of a million Irish people in the south just voted for him in an election. When Irish citizens in the north and abroad are able to vote for the Irish president, probably next time, the results will be very different.

There were many positives to come from the IRA campaign. One being that no laws can be passed in Stormont without what is effectivly the IRA leadership rubber stamping it. A far cry from the pre 1972 Stormont I think you will agree.

You are politically ******ed Medro. Anytime Irish politics is discussed all you do is roll out the usual anti Republican ****e that does not add anything. Try and form some ideas of your own. Your posts could very well be copied and pasted off Willie Frazers website.

I will get bombs and bullets if I don't vote Sinn Fein? How does that work? People vote for them because they will represent their views better than any other party. Just like elections all round the world. You are seriously deluded if you think people vote for Sinn Fein to stop the IRA returning. That is some straw clutching there.

When did they say this? You think people vote for Sinn Fein so that the IRA do not start up again? You think people actually use their vote for this reason? You call me stupid? Trying to debate with you is like talking to my 9 year old son. See you later.
