What a complete **** their keeper was! Fecking hilarious that he landed on his arse twice in 15 seconds though!
The fact we were repeatedly linked with him for a couple of seasons, until his drug ban, always confused me No way would he have been an upgrade to Hugo, so why spend £20m+ on a downgrade?
Some reports coming in that Emerson Royal avoided an attempted robbery this morning. Took some photos with a security guard, who then escorted him to his car. Some bloke tried to rob him and he and the guard exchanged fire. Doesn't sound like anyone was hurt, thankfully.
Denzel Dumfries I was intrigued by someone playing for the Netherlands who has a Scottish name. Yes I know these names come from the slave era but this is a town name rather than a person name. The only other person I have come across who uses that name is The Marquess of Bute who used to be a racing driver using the name of 'Johnny Dumfries' I looked up Denzil's Wiki entry and Wow it must be one of the longest entries I have seen. I am none the wiser about his name but his is a fascinating story anyway.
His ability to maintain his fitness and to keep finding extra reserves of energy in these long matches, allied to his great talent, have made him virtually unbeatable on clay. And still unbeatable at 36. He is setting records which may never be broken.
I doubt even Rafa will be able to play on much longer unless they can sort out his foot issue. Djokovic will end up with the most Grand Slams I suspect. Wouldn't bet against him winning Wimbledon and US Open to draw level this year.
That's the first time I have watched that since that famous night. It almost loses nothing even though I know what happens. What a game, what a result and how dare you want Lucas out.
