The one time cult following Eaves had and his ensuing departure from the club definitely left a bad taste in some supporters gobs. For what it’s worth now the guy obviously loved it here but at the end of the day was deemed dispensable by the club in our quest for improvement.
I think Derby look favourites to sign him providing they can get their ownership and financial woes sorted out. I won't hold my breath. Some City fans on here would cry 'not good enough for Preston, then not good enough for City'. I get the feeling that City aren't focusing on the home Bosman market due to lack of value and quality.
Very good interview. Seems we are keen on bringing in older more mature players. Disappointed to find we don’t have an option to sign Allayar. And that parent club will have some sort of interest in him. Sounds more like a continuing loan???? And loved the way it said we have no idea how to score a f…. goal. Goal Infertility
I think the Allahyar thing more meant they have a sell on clause so will both benefit from him in that respect
I interpreted it as we have an option to buy but it wasn't compulsory like in a lot of loans. So if he was **** we could send him back.
I interpreted the Allahyar thing as the transfer having add-on and sell-on fees so Feberbahçe benefit from his development in the long-term too, just as we benefit from Bowen’s development at West Ham.
Thought the Allayhar transfer was all but done tbh, just waiting the announcement ! Or did I misinterpret what has been said here previously?
I assumed by the ITK crowd, that it’s a done deal, along with Traore & we’re just waiting for the official window to open.
Preston release Tom Barkhuizan...!!!! Always looked a handful to me. Has he turned down a contract? Or are Preston looking to do something special next season?
It's all but done, we can't officially sign players until the transfer window opens on Friday, so that's when it'll be announced along with Traore. We don't tend to announce players until the start of their contract, some clubs do it before, but AFAIK we don't.
I thought it’s the guy who turned down a contract, must be someone else, apparently he’s had injuries & not played much. https://www.deepdaledigest.com/news/tom-barkhuizen-comments-after-his-preston-north-end-departure/
Georges Mikautadze got a very very nice assist against Bulgaria tonight. Really hope that one materialises.
