Blackrock does not own these companies. Blackrock investment funds buy shares in the companies using their clients money.

Blackrock is not a shareholder, the shares / securities are purchased using monies invested into blackrock funds and so their clients are the share holders and these are managed by blackrock.

It’s more than likely that Blackrock are investing one or more of their clients money in our club.

 

Just to add to the conversation, BlackRock’s assets jumped by nearly 900% between 2008 and 2009. Looks like they made a killing in the aftermath of the financial crash. They went from owning about $20 billion worth to nearly $180 billion.

It seems like the point they went from just another investment firm to one of the biggest.

I have know idea were "in the know" (itk) came about, and l have never seen a post or poster ever start with the claim I'm in the know and pass on info.
What l do know is those three words have disrupted both boards with some acrimony amongst poster that has become embarrassing.
Those posters who get info post with good intension, l suspects it comes secondhand but it's past in good faith.
If they get it wrong and sometimes do, criticism is easy, but l intented to sit back and enjoy the ride that is SAFC, HTL

... it's always the messages that turn out right.

I was told about the origin Defoe/Altidore deal a month before it happened. But it came from a Mag in-law who's in the media and loves winding me up.

I was equally gutted and delighted when it happened

 

Yeah i very rarely get down to pitch level but for the Lincoln play off game I was right on half way three rows up and its like watching a different sport

 

On TV the goals looks like LND ambles backwards to create space, and has all the time in the world to control the ball and choose where to place it.

That view shows what appears to be a split second of making space and a snap-shot.

As you said - a different game.

We were only thirty rows from the pitch but my memory is totally different.

 

It's basically down to jealously mate. Personally and it's no disrespect to the likes of Smug, Wheatsheaf, Magnus, Prehab and anyone I've missed out but I tend to take the information with a pinch of salt. I read what they post with excitement and hope to hell that it comes off but if it doesn't I can't blame what's been posted as they only pass on to other fans what they've been told. I feel that other posters who like to pull them up on the info that they post - even if only 50% of it comes off can only be jealous

 

OK i am not defending what they have done to the club, mishandled it defo, upset the RAWA defo, SD talking bollocks re his daughter defo, CM taking the piss over us northerners knowing F ALL about business defo.
On the other side, the 2 of them stumped up big style for 2 different charities and did it via an anonymous name, did they steal any money NO look at the accounts, look at Ellis he got every penny, yes it was over 11 months the repayment, but he got it.
now lots on here and RTG think they are scum, i get it.
So will be a lot easier when they have left, yes defo.
They bought us by offsetting the payments and using their money JS,SD,CM all put their money in, of that there is no doubt.
The investment by KLD was handled by his accountants and solicitors, they were happy how the purchase was done.
If there were any fiddles do you lot honestly think they would have let him invest ??? no way.
But on here as on RTG it is easier to make **** up and accuse people of stealing when people dont know all the facts.
If anyone knows different, i suggest they aim their questions at KLD 's accountants and solicitors for the answers.
OH and while you are on to them, ask why KLD needed a NDA so tight it was waterproof.

Maybe by buying the club with the parachute payments made business sense but could it be morally right? That money could've helped the club in the pitch where it was required and meant for. Sorry Bob but we have to disagree on this topic, they came in to cut the club down to the bones and get a quick flip over and sell without really costing them. We didn't get the promotion that they wanted and it bit them and the club on the arse big style
