The thing is they have to build the foundations 1st. Then layer on layer. 80 ms would improve our side enough at this stage. 4 to 6 decent players
If only the facts backed this principle up. He left the Club in a worse position but the new owners then put us in a better position. But who really cares. He’s gone and we’ve got our club back.
This is January's deal that didn't get completed. We're selling max more than likley so there's what 35 ms 69 to 80 plus sale is alot
No because as a business newcastle was in a better position and that helped sell the club. Nufc was one of the clubs not drowning in debt which it was when he bought the club The rest of what you said I agree with, but people do care which is why they don't like giving him credit for that side of things
He left the club financially sound but at the expense of everything else being more or less asset stripped. The new owners said it themselves when they came in they couldn’t believe the mess it was in. The books balanced but cash flow was a major issue and he knew that. But yes he gave them a clean slate.
Nah not really mate.... I'm not sure how you think we'll be able to acquire 4-6 decent players for that amount, when you factor the inflated fees. Besides, I don't believe this reported figure of "60m", I call it BS.
Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa are all interested in taking 28-year-old Belgium winger Yannick Carrasco from Atletico Madrid. (Fichajes - in Spanish) Tottenham are also interested in Newcastle's 25-year-old French attacker Allan Saint-Maximin. (Football London) Newcastle will need to pay £50m to sign Manchester City's Dutch defender Nathan Ake, 27. (Sun on Sunday) I'd sell if the right offer came in.
Why is Dean Henderson even a thing? Makes no sense to me. A year in Man Us reserves, how do you warrant spending money on that? Not one Man U fan I know even remotely rates him. Had one decent season in the Championship (as did Darlow). Can’t distribute for toffee. Drops the odd clanger. Very run of the mill by all accounts and no improvement on what we have. Some weird stuff so far. Botman, doesn’t want to come. Ekitike waiting for others. No deal for Targett who was really good. Murmurings of Lewis getting another chance.
Anyone thinking Ekitike comes straight in our starting 11 and makes a difference is brave in my opinion. It will be more likely the kid rocks up, one of our sports scientists then suggests he needs to put on a good few stone of muscle to resemble Drogba and we don't see him for some time. He'll get appearances in the reserves and occasional minutes from the subs bench I reckon.
Lewis could be a quality left back As for Henderson, I agree with you! I’d rather give Woodman a chance - he was better than Henderson in the championship!
Start with sub appearances then he'll become a regular. If we're paying good money for him he would be perennially in the reserves like our other "wonderkids" from back in the day - Vuckic, Tavernier, Kadar, Ranger, Tozer, Spear blah blah
Should go for Bazuna or Kelleher, don't think either will ever make it as No. 1 choice for their present clubs , think Bazuna is the better of the 2,imho.
I think there was some interest in him recently, however he's a big risk. Just because he's a footy manager wonderkid doesn't make him a good keeper ready for the PL. Realistically Woodman should be way ahead of him and he turned out to be horseshit.
Don't think he'd be that much of a risk cos he'd cost very little plus he has 10 senior caps for Ireland, very young but has experience.
