Cursed it. Zero creativity. Too many long balls. Disappointed with Bellingham. Trent’s corners are sh*t.
Lot of knee-jerkers will moan about the performance, but it is a bit daft to play 4 international friendlies at the end of the season. These guys should all be on holiday resting.
Maybe they should, but it is the same for the Hungarian Team. End of the day it is a glorified friendly but we were toilet, hopefully some lessons will be learned.
Oh we were awful, don’t get me wrong. But it’s gotta be hard for the players to motivate themselves for a friendly in a stadium full of kids, after the intensity of the last few weeks of the domestic and European comps.
Not sure what the point of this competition is. It does not appear to have captured the imagination of the fans but looking at the empty seats at the Ageas Bowl last night, you wonder if T20 is losing it's appeal too with the introduction of The Hundred. The match in Hungary felt totally pointless. The players were probably as disinterested as the fans.
I think you will find that there was rather a lot of other things going on this week-end, some Jubilee or other. Also with no England fans in Hungary the twelfth man was absent.
Surprised to see that ITV have piggybacked the Sky coverage of the Wales v Ukraine game. Fair play. I was just going to set IPTV up to watch it.
