I can guarantee we won’t spend more than 50m on a player until we are in Europe. Some of the fees quoted for some of the players we are linked to is bonkers.
The entire budget is around 60 to 80 million unless we sell players, so you're correct we won't be signing Paqueta Nunez or anyone of the sort this summer.

If he goes, he goes. I'd be disappointed as he's a very good player and he would fly in that Spurs team. There were times where he carried us all by himself.
He's a frustrating player, but a useful weapon. I don't understand why people want rid so fast. We've got far worse players and there's no guarantee they'll get a better replacement. Imo you get the replacement in, establish they are actually better and then you move players on. It would be nice to have players on the bench that aren't way below the likes of max or max or the bench
