I assume at the time he said it; Traore, Ozan, Mikauladze, not sure on the other.

Is that Georges Mikautadze who has been on loan at Belgium club RFC Seraing this past season? He is Georgian by nationality but was born in France. He had a decent season in the Belgium Jupiler league, he could be a good signing.

You’d hope so, Metz have just been relegated so could be a bargain on the cards

Not as good as the Saffurn or Uronus league, but it's decent.

It's being worked on, the money in France has dropped massively, so clubs are squeezing everything they can out of clubs to get enough to survive, so it's not as cut and dry as it perhaps should be. Ligue 2 is particularly feeling the pinch due to the lower TV deal. Not sure how St Etienne will survive. OLM Jnr did a decent video on them and Bordeaux.

The fact that he isn't interested in seeking out a move and appears to be hanging on in the hopes that he's offered a mutual termination.

Would Allahyar be the 4th one, as technically he is not a City player yet?

He has a contract. He’s expected to fulfil it, as are the club. Nothing ****ty about that.

Why should he be financially compromised because the club are perceived to no longer require the services they agreed to pay for? If the club no longer wish to fulfil their obligations then the burden falls on them to compensate him fully. Nothing ****ty about expecting your employer to fulfil their legal contractual obligations.

Why should the burden fall on him to find a club? He has a contract.

Yes potentially, though he's always spoken about like he's already signed so I'm not sure, gun to my head I'd say yes.

He's expecting the club to pay for him to do nothing, which means he's not arsed about playing and just wants to recoup the money, which he's well within his rights to do, but from a football point of view, it's pretty ****ty.

He’s expecting his employer to fulfil the terms of his contract by paying him. Nothing ****ty about it.

It absolutely isn’t ****ty. The club committed to a contract, if they choose not to use him then that is their choice. It is absolutely his right to stay & chase a place in the team, as he is contracted to do. Nothing ****ty about that also.

If the club want to get rid of him then they should pay up the contract, they signed, in full. Nothing ****ty in expecting your employee to pay you your salary.

If club expect him to find a new job for less money without compensating him for his financial losses the that is ****ty.

A contract is a two way thing, signed by both parties. Only ****ty thing is when one party fails to fulfil the obligations they agreed to.

Right, which like I said, he's within his rights to do. But in terms of football, it's hardly the sign of a good footballing mentality. Most other footballers would go out and find somewhere else to play. Eaves, for example, was told he wouldn't be first choice and was well down the pecking order for next season, so he said "no thanks" and signed for Rotherham. He could have sat in and just earned money, but he opted to go out and play.
