If Maxi goes to Spurs it will be for big money. No way we are dealing with them for £40-£50m in my view. If he goes he goes. He's been a shining light in a **** time for the club but as the team have progressed he has regressed at times. He isn't looking like he's comfortable not being the main man anymore. The crowd is starting to see flaws in his game that were previously ignored or just not picked up on due to the Covid season etc. It's quite amazing how much of the action is missed by the camera's or they just don't catch stuff the way you see it live. He was the one player that excited us during the Bruce era, for that I will always have a soft spot for him and wish him well, but he is not the player you build this new look squad around.
He's not great like but he's got a good attitude and is a club in your bag.. Same applies with max I'd rather keep him because he's an option.
