Just ran 7km, which is the normal amount I try to do each day outside, try to go to the gym a few times a week as well and do 10-20km there. Running is the only time I really zone out properly and gets me away from work and ****; the "runners high" is definitely a thing, not as fun as the one you get from the bong, but still good!

    Yep each day.

He can't be that good if "people who like running" are his speciality.

Seriously, really impressed. Never been into “running” by itself and hated “joggers” which was just a glorified expression for people to carry water bottles and wear leggings whilst walking. But way back in the day did enjoy taking part in a variety of sports from football to squash to karate until work family and laziness took over.

Starting going to the gym after starting shortly after starting a full time job way back years ago, and running became my main release to get rid of any stress and **** after work so it's always been a thing for me. Since lockdown and now I work from home all the time, outside running is the only thing that gets me out the house sometimes and keeps me sane.

In terms of your "walkers" above, i hate seeing that at gyms as well, ie people who go on the treadmill at walking speed whilst reading a book on their kindle, urgh naff off.

    Any twitchers on here?

Had a woodpecker on the fat balls yesterday.

Loads of baby birds about at the minute, great tits, blue tits, blackbirds, starlings, robins and chaffinch.

I stayed in Braithwaite which is 2 miles from Keswick. Walk wise done Catbells, Easedale tarn, Buttermere lake and Tarn Hows. None of the challenging 1s but still good fun. Even had a swim in Easedale Tarn and Buttermere
