It’s been a slog and a half getting out of league 1 but we’ve done it. I’m glad to get out of there but best of luck to all the clubs we’ve met. Just like us, the fans are passionate and want their teams to thrive and do the best they can.
Blackpool’s manager is leaving to join Gerrard at Aston Villa… surprised at that. Blackpool will struggle next season imo.
I agree mate. I am interested to see what Beale does at QPR though. Supposed to be a very good coach.
Just saw that on Twitter. He did very well for them, leaving to be a no2 when he's had a taste of the top job is a strange one.
Aye probably, wonder who Blackpool go for. Good news for us I suppose, a bit of disruption for a rival.
He is ex Liverpool mate. I reckon he is just aligning himself with Gerrard so he can go with him when Klopp goes. Gerrard will know him well.
Liverpool are going to go back to also rans when Klopp goes imo, if they go for sentiment and appoint Gerrard that is nailed on! I can not stand Klopp I hate his smug face and his ****ing stupid mouth that looks like he has been at a 90's rave popping pills all ****ing night! Hate his ****ing toys out the pram attitude when they don't win, blokes a ****er imo. But he is an outstanding manager and without him Liverpool would be doing a Spurs or Arsenal now and watching City win the title with weeks to spare.
He's apparently a really nice bloke, Klopp. When he was at Dortmund, he'd regularly be seen wandering around in public and people would stop him to talk. He'd happily talk to anyone about football and was so enthusiastic people would often have to say 'thanks Jurgen, but I've really got to go' because he'd keep them chatting for so long.
Might be the case, I took a dislike to him when we drew with them. Adam Johnson's last game for us. Klopp wasn't happy about the free kick we got and scored from and he saw his arse with a journalist asking a pretty innocent standard journalist question about it. I have seen him have a similar attitude a few times when result haven't went the way he is used to. Luckily for him and the journalists, they batter most teams each week so he is happy go lucky. I mean part of me thinks finding losing so hard to accept is what most winners are like. So I suppose the thing I have an issue is the big slide between the two attitudes.
I don't mind Klopp, he can be a dick but he seems genuine enough just wears his heart on his sleeve. Guardiola is the one I don't like, when he's in a bad mood he gets passive aggressive in an unpleasant way. I bet interviewers often have to fight the urge to chin him.
if he’s getting twice as much for no pressure he’s probably laughing his head off, like being in the opposition party just turn up on a Wednesday do a bit of booing and collect your wedge.
Aye , strange. He has done wonders at Blackpool. But Gerrard will know him from Critchley's time at Liverpool so he knows what he is getting. Might be a smart move by both of them.
