248/17 on the day, anyone would think this was being played in early May instead of early June......... coasting at 92/2 and then the all too familiar batting collapse..... I know low scoring games are possible more entertaining than a side scoring 500 odd, but it would be nice if just for once England could post 500 and put the opposition under pressure........ Saturday still looking a tad dodgy Strolls, do you get any refund if all over before lunch on Day 3?
Probably our continued inability to bat, it is comically awful against any decent bowling attack. McCullum out lol. It's probably dawning on him what a monumental task he faces in trying to turn our batting unit into a half decent one.
You get your money back if there are less than a certain number of overs bowled. Not sure what the number is, though. I'll see enough, I'm sure. And an England win
Broad gone already and England still in arrears. Anderson in at 10 ahead of Parkinson, who must be truly **** with the bat.
Could be a fun day tomorrow, if we get there, and I’m sure you will see it to a conclusion @Stroller. Can’t see us chasing anything more than 150 mind….
Unbeaten 72 partnership starting to put Kiwi's on top. Parkinson looks like the leg spinning version of Bess, absolutely no turn and half trackers aplenty. Need to find something after tea or the target could become unattainable for our fragile lineup !
Rain forecast in the morning, clearing in the afternoon, so there might be no play before lunch. Still only the third day, so there really should be no reason for 250 to be out of reach. This current partnership is showing that there are no demons in the wicket, both sides just batted poorly in the first innings.
