Good Morning. It's Thursday 2nd June, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road

Leeds table £9.9m bid for Danish International

Danish Media outlet 'Ekstra Bladet' have revealed that Leeds have tabled a £9.9m bid for Red Bull Saltzburg's Rasmus Kristensen. Speculation regarding the attacking right back has been rife since it was first revealed by The Athletic's Phil Hay earlier this week that the attacking wing back was on Jesse Marsch's wish last.

Kristensen is 24yo, stands 6' 2 and is 75 kg of pure muscle. He joined Saltzburg from Ajax during the 2019 January transfer window, penning a four and a half year contract. With only twelve months left on his contract, his price tag has dropped to just £10m. Whilst this has attracted the attention of Borussia Dortmund and Brentford, Kristensen already has a relationship with Marsch, having worked under him during his spell with the Austrian Champions.

If I'm not promised game-time then I don't really want to be waiting around

Whilst Leeds fans will be excited about the prospect of Rasmus Kristensen joining Yorkshire's finest, one person who won't be over the moon is Cody Drameh. Lack of game time last season prompted the 20yo to demand a loan move during the January transfer window, and reluctantly, Bielsa was forced to grant it.

The former Fulham youngster was snapped up by Cardiff City, and he made an instant impression. Although he was only there for half a season, Drameh was voted both 'Player of the Season', and 'Young Player of the Season'.

There's no doubt that Drameh has huge potential for someone so young, but is he ready to be a top flight regular? We have seen Leeds being linked with a host of big money moves for right backs in recent weeks, suggesting that perhaps Luke Ayling's days are numbered. It also tells us that the club don't see Drameh as a ready-made replacement!

During a recent Interview, the England youngster made his feelings very clear! "If I'm not promised game-time then I don't really want to be waiting around.” Can we expect Drameh to be at Elland Road next season?

Sky Pundit accuses Leeds of hypocrisy

Former player, now Sky Sports pundit, Kevin Campbell has accused Leeds Utd and Burnley of hypocrisy following their written complaint regarding the finances at Everton FC. The duo believe Everton have seriously breached the Premier League's financial regulations, which gave them an unfair advantage in their quest to avoid relegation.

Over the past three seasons, the Merseyside outfit have recorded losses of £371.8 million, yet they blame much of this on the Covid pandemic. Campbell, who spent five seasons at Goodison Park is suspicious of the timings of their grievances, and has accused both clubs of looking out for their own interests in an attempt to avoid relegation.

“At the end of the day, all this came out before the last game of the season because they’re fighting for their lives. “And when you’re fighting for your life you need a lifeline. Maybe the financial thing was a lifeline. “Remember, you’re not looking at yourself, you’re looking at somebody else. So it’s easy to be ultra-critical on somebody else when you’ve got holes in your shoes."

“Talking about somebody else’s shoes, when you’ve got holes in your own, that’s just the way it is. “Because the Premier League is so rich to be in that when you drop out, it’s so difficult in that Championship to get back. “So I think those clubs were just trying to look after themselves.”

    **** off Campbell

Lets let the gaffer have a look at Drameh and he can either loan him or sell him if he wants his man in. Ayling can then cover RB when required. Drameh deserves a look, he may fit what's required, unless its his attitude that's the problem then he can just go <ok>

    Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

We have Gelhardt, Greenwood, Drameh, Summerville, Cresswell, Caprile, Bogutsz. These 7 cannot be part of the first team squad based upon 18+. So some will have to be sold or loaned out because they will not sit in the 23s.

Watching Cooper last night you knew he is nearing the end, but a great leader in the dressing room, so he has to stay and unless Llorente, Struijk or Koch leave Cresswell will have to go, which is a shame.

Ayling getting near the end so needs to be either starting or back up but seems to be moving to back up for Kristenson. No problem with that as Bill is also great in the dressing room but that leaves us with Cody Drameh who now looks like having to be sold.

Nohan Kenneh knew new DMs were coming in so decided to leave and if Marsch brings in another winger to replace Raphinha Summerville is gone too. It may be that Marsch doesnt use wingers so again Summerville is on his bike. Greenwood and Joffy look like being included, but going to be some big changes in the next weeks

Morning all. Three observations from Scotland game last night. Adams was woeful, Cooper marginally better but that Mudryk lad is some passer of the ball. Ukranian goalie possibly worse than Kiko. Wales game, James repeating what he does for us till he was substituted, Running all over the place but poor decision making with final ball. Interesting to see what he comes up with against Ukraine on Sunday. Marsch seems to have a sizeable influence on incoming players. Hopefully they are pl standard. Saw a couple of articles yesterday stating KP wants to stay and up to Orta and Radz. Hope that's the case

    Good morning
The twat, so he thinks it's ok to cheat, although it would not affect Leeds, i would still like to see them with a four point deduction, to show cheating is not tolerated in football, rules are apparently their for a reason and applies to all, or so it would seem :emoticon-0112-wonde. But we all know that won't happen, just seems to me that cheating and underhand tactics follow that other twat frank Lampard wherever he goes.
As to our signings we may or may not make, i'm not getting excited or underwhelmed till they put pen to paper, but so far so good with Aaronson.

You want Cooper to stay because he talks a good job? He's on £22,500 a week. That's almost 100k a month. We can't afford to be keeping hold of washed up players. Sorry, Ayling, Cooper, Klich, Costa and Roberts - Goodbye.

Controversial idea but hey its silly season:

Juan Mata has today confirmed he is leaving Man Utd. Very very nice guy who does loads for charity and even gives a chunk of his salary to charity. Money doesnt interest him as hes earned enough to be comfortable for the rest of his life.

Last couple of games of the season he was used and the fans were drooling and aski g why he had t been used much….. still a quality player, yes 34 but what a card to be able to play and best of all free?

I think Drameh is gone. We assumed it was Bielsa that was unhappy about him wanting out in the middle of our injury crisis but it seems that the hierarchy weren’t impressed either. Might be more on the way. Didn’t JM allude to the fact that some of the U23s were a bit above themselves.

Kevin Campbell talking self serving ****e. Of course Leeds and Burnley were trying to get Everton relegated, Campbell trying to do a Bojo on it and deflect attention from Everton's cheating. Cody Drameh seems a decent prospect but if he's that good then why are we looking at Kristensen?

I completely agree with you, but why would he when players like Cooper are ahead of him in the pecking order? Did you see Cooper play last night. He's an embarrassment!!!
