We make more money in tourism than we pay them. Hardly parasites. Remove the Royal Family and they could hardly be a tourist attraction as they then wouldn’t exist. We could then always have an elected Head of State such as someone similar to Boris or Corbyn or Trump or Macron. Yeah, that seems such a good idea.
Considering she has no influence anyway there is no need for her as head of state. If she does have influence then she should have intervened by now

Congratulations to Her Majesty As a Head of State and everything she brings to the Country is second to none. Not a single politician in my lifetime can light a candle to her, with the current crop across the political spectrum the least impressive to date. She must despair at times. God Save The Queen
