Lots of folk "investing" money they can't afford to lose in crypto and in my opinion there's a decent chance we'll look back and see it as a mad ponzi scheme. Might not be but I see it as the same as gambling with possible binary outcomes of big wins or almost total loss in the long term. Should the club or any other respectable organisation be promoting this? Maybe aye if we're going to have bookies as sponsors but at least folk understand gambling is gambling. If you can afford to lose your money and move on, that's ok but too many not in that position. Let's hope folk make it big. I think lots of desperate people and optimists will lose money they can't afford to sadly.
Was bored so I chucked a random episode of STID on. Was the one where they were hyping up the Boxing Day game. What a bell-end
was offered tickets for knebworth (79, led zep time) and/or reading rock fest....figured zep were so big they would be around forever so plenty time to see them so chose reading, how was i to know eh? mind, reading was class so went back in 80 as well.
Or is he Kildare? It would explain the inside knowledge and to be fair I’ve never seen either of them in the same place at the same time!
I have some lovely Mag relatives, in the Derwent Valley, one of whom went to the 1955 final but incudes a journalist who's married in. I don't get any info, just the occasional sarky text and the odd comp ticket, but I've had a very decent message about promotion. He's also said 'looks like good times ahead for you lot, some very interesting gossip doing the rounds'. From someone who's usually dismissive of anything to do with Sunderland that's quite something.
The money KLD and Satori have and/or are related to and the money they have access to, I imagine the next person or people in are going to have some wedge. Hopefully they have some know how too.
