I assume you meant £20M. Barca probably couldn't afford it. They probably can't even afford twenty quid a year.

Seems that Radz has almost got the second club in his planned footballing group. Leeds director and mate has taken over as CEO of Lecce, a Seria A club. Now the big questions are:

Will 49ers still have the Leeds Utd Group as part of the future business plan. This involves being majority shareholder and minority holder Radz as Chairman/President. Radz role to develop the group operations in purchasing football clubs in European leagues. If you remember last season he almost bought Salernitano and later Caliagri.

if 49ers have changed their minds it would mean a full takeover and Radz and Co going independent back in Italy?

I believe Greenwood and Gelhardt are in the same frame of mind as Drameh, Summerville and Cresswell. These players hardly had any football all season because of choices made running the first team. They are demanding to play football…. Somewhere. Summerville also wanted out in January like Drameh

Can’t blame any of them. Who wants to spend their career playing reserve football and being paid accordingly

Either 9 or 10 players requested a move in January, and who can blame them. We constantly had 8 or 9 players out, and they still barely got a kick.

Cooper has been skinned on a few occasions against Ukraine. Commentator said he’s being made look like a cart horse. Hoped for better tonight from him

that’s not quite true is it. Bielsa said there were 9 or 10 others in a similar position to drameh.

it’s the same in any academy… they want to play man’s football and would rather have a loan than sit in the 23s.

Bielsa never implied they all requested a move.

Depends whether they’re considered senior squad players but not sure pay is the main thing - most premier league teams pay their fringe players more than they would get as first teamers in other leagues/divisions.

There are players happy picking up serious cash as a squad player, but generally these guys are competitive feckers and really want to play - if they think their route to the first team is limited - first choice is a loan to prove themselves (on those nice PL wages) - and second would be a move. Hence all those Chelsea players doing the loan circuit…

Although they would never wish any good fortune on us English I wouldn’t begrudge them their day on the sun… but I guess at the moment we’re all Ukraine aren’t we.

Just watched Ukraine dismantle the Jocks, the one layer that caught my eye was Ukraine No. 14 Mudryk, came on as a sub looked well equipped and skilled on the ball, don’t know who owns him but looks good to me.
