I think this would be the ideal situation, in that, they have had a look at the whole club, know want they want to achieve, and are comfortable with the board set up. Whereas, another investor may not be. By the way, Maja didn't want to leave. His agent pushed it. He didn't have a longer contract because he had a back operation and the club wanted to be certain he was right before giving him a long deal. He was going to sign when he was offered, then, the agent came in!
I think I paid about a fiver once! Mid seventies. Stone's, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 10cc, Todd Rungren, Don Harrison and others. Pink Floyd the year before, when we turned up and just walked over the " barrier " witch was just that orange plastic tape hung on a few stakes in the ground. We only did that mind as we couldn't find anywhere to actually buy tickets! Magnificent shambles, and Floyd were tremendous. Beer tonight, thanks for all the tip offs lads. Enjoy Kebworth for those who are going.!!
I've still not totally come down from the Play off final yet. get told off on a daily basis by Mrs Sauce from watching Vlogs and clips on u tube even now.
Definitely, would like to see them advertising for sales staff for the ticket office and club shop as well. Got a feeling there will be big demand for the new strip and other merch this season.
Great beer Life and Death. Brew it by me. It was my lockdown tipple. Mountain bike to the hill top. Couple of cans. Fly back down.
Knebworth was a magnificent shambles in the 70's. went to see Zeppelins return in 79 I think. Don't remember paying at all just seemed to wander in. Mind you don't remember much about the whole weekend. Was a bit like going to away games then just decided to go no tickets. We also had no idea where Knebworth was. Got off the train in Peterborough pissed hitched the rest of the way walked across some fields through a wood and ended up in. Simpler times.
They really were. I was at that Zepppelin one too, though I have barely any memory of it, apart from going down in a transit van, and, coming back seeing that one of the lads had somehow acquired a parrot in a cage, which came back home with us! He later said he won it in a bet! I never knew if he was telling the truth or not, but he kept the parrot for years. Mental years them mind.
Possible but wouldn't surprise me if they have scheduled the tweets. Guess we will see. No dramas with it like.
