Perhaps it's another year of Chris Wood and the gang? Maybe the early contract signings of Dummett and Longstaff really were an indication of this "evolution not revolution"?
I think we'll get a CB, LB, a marquee striker or winger, and maybe one other decent signing and that will be that. There'll be people disappointed because it wont be the big overhaul they want because they don't understand FFP. I think we'll sign enough to push in the top 10 and we'll likely finish 7/8th next season.
Considering how much we've improved our current players, we may not need to sign as many as others have first thought. Krafth and Manq are good fullback cover if Tripps or first choice LB gets injured. Our Central midfield is strong, and our wingers look massively improved. We just need a striker/another attacker, a first choice LB, a center back. I don't know why we aren't going straight for tarkowski like. We could sign him for free and buy another first choice CB.
Our central midfield is not strong. Whilst Shelvey is a **** is still present it will never be strong
Bruno, Joelinton and Willock being 3 CM first choice is pretty strong first choice. Willock will probably score more next season, Joe and Bruno are beast. Longstaff, Shelvey back up isn't that bad considering where we are.
He's not that bad mate. He's a good passer of the ball, and decent back up. How strong can you expect our squad to be at this stage? Shelvey is good enough to be a squad player for any team below the top 6/7.
He is absolute ****. Not only that he is a **** of a human being I expect him flogged. Bring in Joe White and Lucas de Bolle
I do t think Shelvey is that good of a player in the modern game and does not suit how Howe wants to play. Longstaff has been far better next to Bruno. I am convinced we will sign another this summer.
We will sign what is required to move up a level I am more than happy with that. I reckon we will get some good players in. We are technically speaking a man down already with Tags leaving.
