Time to hop down the bookies for a golden boot bet then. Obligatory hattrick against us too I assume.
Notts County have signed National League North top scorer and Player of the Season Macaulay Langstaff.
Pleased he will get a chance to stay in the Championship and genuinely think he'll do well there. If he gets off to a good start, wouldnt be surprised to see him score 10-15 goals in a season there - but I guess time will tell.
Naby Sarr just been released by Huddersfield, centre half, 3 goals in 18 appearances for them this season, profile of centre half I think we need
I’d be very surprised if he gets over 7, although I think if he has someone up front with him he might have a chance at 10.
True because the Humber Premier League is basically the bottom end of League One/top end of League 2.
That's not how bigger teams with reserve sides in leagues usually works. It would be great experience for our 18s/23s and it would add games to a fairly spacious calender. I remember when the U23s team from the big clubs joined the FL trophy. The main argument was that they'd win it, yet I don't think anyone's got close. You'd think Real Madrid Castilla would win the title every year but they don't. It's obviously not the standard we'd ideally like them at but at least they'd be playing mens football in an environment we can control
I'm sure RM Castilla qualified for Europe once because they got to the final of the Copa Del Rey. Bit outrageous lol.
