Dunno like Newcastle will probably be in amongst it eventually. Nobody can compete with that sorta bunse.
Who would you say are the 'vanilla' clubs of the current PL? i.e. the ones you kind of notice midway through February when glancing at the table and think 'Oh, them...I forgot about them'/ones you couldn't really give a toss about in the grand scheme of things. I'd say: Leicester Brighton Brentford Bournemouth Fulham Southampton I reckon all of them could leave the PL tomorrow and not a single toss would be given outside of their immediate fanbases.
I am sick of Fulham, Norwich and them constantly getting promoted. West Brom always comes to mind. When someone like Leeds or Forest come up its a ****ing blessing.
Brighton had strawberry syrup for a few weeks last season but aside from that it’s hard to argue with that list.
Liverpool Liverpool U23 Liverpool U18 Liverpool U16 Liverpool Ladies Liverpool Legends (retired former players) James Milner by Himself. And then 13 other clubs who would just be there to make up the numbers.
Fine mate, you certainly haven't upset me ... but likewise, I wouldn't include your lot in teams I quite like to watch if mine aren't playing ... unlike Citeh and Liverpool for instance ... you're now in there with Villa and Brighton but below West Ham In that regard ... suspect I'm not alone in that... But football never stands still, clubs come and go, rise and fall, history is there to be made ... and whilst it does seem rather unlikely at this point, it is not completely impossible that United might one day be more than just challengers for fourth... or a Europa place ... but probably not in our lifetime
You more or less have my list but i would remove Southampton, i quite like them for some reason, maybe it's because of past players.
I was close to adding them but Wolves for me do at least have that historic nostalgia to them. Founding members of the Football League and a serious trophy haul all things considered. And Palace there's the London element but....yeah...you're right. Leicester Brighton Brentford Bournemouth Fulham Southampton Palace And not a single **** was given.
Yeah you’ll never make a good enough argument for an Ultimate PL without us though, let’s just stick to the topic instead of predicting the future yeah.
As much as the piss gets taken out of them, everyone quite likes an Everton, Leeds, West Ham in the league because when it goes wrong, they're ****ing livid. Fans go ballistic and that's interesting. I count Newcastle in that. Leicester, them lot just shrug say "aye, well, it's been worse." Get back to eating their burnt pizza. Bland.
Nah. Ever since they stopped being Liverpool's feeder club no-one gives a toss about them. Useful for the occasional entertaining 9-0 loss to Leicester, but as we have established, Leicester are also vanilla so they can just beat them 9-0 in the Championship and no-one would ever know.
Are we arbitrarily starting with 1992? If so, then the clubs that have been in it since the beginning of that time frame (no matter how good or bad) should get an automatic entry.
