That would be a very good signing. Obviously he wouldn't want what he asked for from Trabzonspor, but he's a technically gifted player and would certainly do a job for a team like us.
I’d rather sign players for a couple million a piece in transfer fees on modest wages like Allahyar than free agents in their thirties on daft wages. There’s nothing wrong signing players in their thirties as long as it’s within a sensible and sustainable wage budget.
I think the only way we'll get this fella, is if he's desperate to play in English football and is willing to take a major pay cut to do so.
I'm sure they do. It's just the Turkish press linking us with everyone because Acun is news over there.
If city sell klp for £15m then they could re invest that into contracts for better players. £10,000 a week for 10 players, over 3 years.
it could be 50k Turkish lira that he asked for…… Edit - (about £2,500, that doesn’t seem very likely!)
Well, why are we thinking about selling a player on who hasn't even signed for us yet? Not every player needs to have sell on value, what we need are players that come in and lift us to the next level. If he comes in for a season, does well and then goes off on a free transfer, so be it. He won't come in on a high wage, at his age he isn't in a position to ask for one which is just as well because we aren't going to give him one.
