Pretty much this in full to be honest. The only thing I would add is the booing of the national anthem which I understand why but it doesn’t look good to the nee generation of kids.

The self entitlement is there also. It wasn’t that long ago I was hearing Liverpool fans wanting Klopp gone as he had lost the momentum when they had that losing streak at home.

I think some people mistake the word hate with jealousy when it comes to Liverpool if I am being honest.

When you have become accustomed to success like Liverpool did way back when it is in the clubs dna.

Ahahahahahahahahahahaha - Liverpool well beaten on the night by the better team - should have been 2-0, bunch of chavvy scum bags!

Klopp the winner of the nearly awards. At least Owen thinks they're the best team in Europe - best at failure!

Klopp won manager of the season. Without winning the premier league or champions league. They did however come close.

But I don’t understand how Pep didn’t win.

Or our Howe. Who did fantastic with what he had at his disposal.

For me it was Liverpool’s attempt at blocking our takeover. I feel the same about Spurs and Man Utd who seem to have been the other “leaders” of the pack trying to block it.

I don’t dislike the fans per se as opposed to the “Club”.

The ESL and the Covid-19 grab for power don’t help either.

Never understand what the award is actually given for. If it’s just prem achievements then Frank, conte, Howe, would prob be front 3 along with pep, although easy to give it to the winner.

If it’s the whole domestic season then klopp is fair play winning 2 trophies and being a point from a domestic treble.

Tbh I don’t think anyone really cares about it though. Think every manager would trade in that award for a cup/title and it’s not something fans celebrate

Frank should have won it. Keeping Brentford up was a miracle

This would have worked so much better if Everton had gone down <laugh>

"The Premier League manager of the season"

It's just about the league, Klopp winning it is ridiculous but who cares really, they won the "lots of points but finished second again" trophy.

Liverpool fans without valid tickets were responsible for the initial problems at the Champions League final, France’s sports minister has said, as government officials were due to meet for an urgent postmortem of Saturday night’s crowd chaos.

“What we really have to bear in mind is that what happened, first of all, was this mass gathering of the British supporters of the Liverpool club, without tickets, or with counterfeit tickets,” Amélie Oudéa-Castéra told French radio.
The minister said “between 30,000 and 40,000” Liverpool fans without valid tickets turned up at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis outside Paris, which seats 80,000 spectators.

There’ll be different versions of the truth, Hillsborough - as we all accept - shows us that this may change over time and that any apportioning of blame is a risky business this early in the day. These politicians should know better

Is this the same person that claimed 70% of tickets that were tried to put through the turnstiles were fake… 70%?!

Given some players family tickets who were given to them by the club, were apparently fake then suddenly worked later on, I think need to take what they say there with a pinch of salt Tbf.

I’d imagine were a lot without tickets there, maybe some even tried to get through. But seems more likely the technology to read the tickets malfunctioned, add in reports that local youths were amongst the crowd trying to force entry

Or does that just mean it’s only available to managers in the premier league? I genuinely don’t know what is taken into consideration for this award. I can only assume it’s an award for only Prem managers, but takes into account all comps, otherwise yeah, klopp shouldn’t have won it.

Sure they do a championship, League 1, League 2 one etc n all.

They did have a really good season. There is no denying it. However when you're expected to finish top 2 and achieve that it's perhaps not as big an achievement as some others have managed to pull off. Frank at Brentford did very well.
