My comments are nothing about jealousy, I would call it being greedy, I want to win the team to everything. At this moment in time our domestic rival is Manchester City. Regardless of them being a group of oil doping bastards they have a manager who is ruthless. If he thinks he is team is not good enough in certain areas he replace the players. He did it straight away with Joe Hart and got Ederson, and his defence. And he will keep doing it. He’s now bough Haarland. Our season has been fabulous but the team still has issues that need to be addressed to improve it.
Yeah I just want us to be the best. We all know the midfield is the weakest point and upfront is getting old and players potentially leaving, so not wrong to say a refresh is needed. Klopp is here for another 4 years though, so it will be fun to see him build a new team.
found last night quite depressing tbh . it felt like the end of this present team and it deserved a better send off than what transpired last night .
Its a shame. This team should and could have 2 or 3 league titles. 2 CL, fa cup, league cup, world club cup, super cup over the last 5 years. Would go down as one of greatest groups in history but for city’s ridiculous 2 league wins by 1 point and yesterdays defeat. Still given us plenty to cheer from when we were happy to just get into top 4.
No it didn't. Players diving in up the park and then vvd deciding to to put any sort of block on the lad with the ball and letting him it not hr box to corss/shot changed the game We imo played to not concede rather than to score. It felt like we were playing better than real but with few real threats. We had lots of half chances but two real ones that were both saved. They had two and scored 1. That simple.
Real Madrid a better in the midfield our forwards are better.They took their chances but failed to take ours.
We didn't take the chances. Courtois had a worldy. The ref was ****e. Such a shame after a great season. I feel very flat today, but we gave everything we had this season and I have no complaints. I knew when Coirtois tipped the shot onto the post and it stayed out that it wasn't our night.
We out played them most of the game but our finishing wasn't good enough simple as that.Time to reinvent our attack and also improve midfield.
When we were on top that first half, we never committed. I wanted to see a FA cup semi final commitment and just go full on at them, but we held back. The longer it went on 0-0 we couldn't change the game.
Agree. The longer it stayed at 0-0 the more I thought it was set up for Real on the counter, and so it transpired. It has been a great season, such a shame we could not have finished it off with a win but there it is. I really do feel we need to bring in new talent now, a lot of players are coming to the end of their best years and what is on the bench is not going to change a CL final. Look at what Real had on their bench
Konate lost his first game when starting an LFC match yesterday, not bad if it is the CL final. Thought he was our best player. TAA was very poor both in attack and defence.
No Origi no CL Thought that not only was Konate our best player last night he also had his best game so far for us .
Thought TAA was decent defensively. Didn’t get beat at all in 1v1 situation even though all the focus was on how vinicius was gonna tear him apart. Not sure why he’s getting the blame for the goal. Robbo was no where to be seen, vvd didn’t push out to close the shot/cross and unfortunately the mis hit shot ended up perfect in guys path
TAA is great going forward and can tackle if he gets to a player, but he is often caught out of position which is why teams target his side of the pitch.
