Roker report have been doing some digging before they have posted that article, there's definately meat on the bones of this one, I've left a few questions for a lad to ask the family...see if any info comes back today

 

Are we saying total takeover ? ie new people with control ? Or people working with / connected to KLD ?

 

I know it’s not INEOS the entity but that logo would look lovely on the kit

 

I love Roker report but that tweet feels like it’s jumped the gun?!? Nobody other than a few people on SMB and here have speculated that it MIGHT be Reece. I hope there’s more to that article than what they’ve seen posted here.

I do know the intention at the very least was for a takeover but it appears they may have to settle for shares for now. Anything and everything is on the table still though

 

All very exciting, I just hope it doesn't derail our transfer plans like previous seasons.

I am also hoping it's investment alongside KLD, he really started the ball rolling and appears to know the right way to be doing things

If I’m an agent right now I’ve read that this morning and when Speakman calls me to negotiate I’ll say “good one mate I’ll wait a couple of weeks until you can offer more”

 

I hope KLD is still involved
He seems to be a class above and knows exactly what to do

 

We could do with some consistency and stability.

 

The thing that fills me with quite a bit of confidence, is that having been burnt before and still getting stick for it, I don’t think Roker Report would publish that unless they had a good source (and not just from the guessing on the forums)

 

Any idea how far this deal is through?

Multiple sources are saying the same thing. It's the details that are uncertain. Is it him alone? heading a group? Is he willing to settle just for Charlie and stewies shares? Is kld willing to sell his? Is Sartori willing to sell? If shares are split are they going to be able to work together?

 

I just hadn’t seen Reece’s name mentioned anywhere until somebody on here speculated it was him. RTG then copied it. Then everyone suddenly seemed to talk like it was him.

I just hope it is him, and they’ve found that out.

Story goes that Jim Ratcliffe came up with the name and logo with help from his kids and reason it is black and white was desire to keep printing costs down.
