Actually, I have no effing clue anymore. The rule is apparently that the ball has to be played intentionally by the Liverpool player and as it was deflected it's deemed to be offside still. But the Liverpool player goes to win the ball and to me that makes it intentional. I think it should have counted, but the expert is saying that it shouldn't. The rule is as clear as mud.

 

The intentional thing is Bull **** but what I really don't get is that Benzema was the only Real player to touch it in that whole cluster **** so we are basically saying Benzema has been passed the ball on an onside position then through some weird Liverpool pinball machine passed it back to himself and is somehow then offside.

Alexander-Arnold was terrible for that goal. He's an outstanding footballer, but every now and again he completely switches off as a defender.

Think thats why he’s never a shoe in for England. Can be woeful in defence.

 

I think he'd be a certain starter if he was a left back. But he's not as good as Reece James who is the full package as a full back in my opinion.
