Anyone know what has happened to Josh Wright? He seems to have fallen off the radar. I know he had a back injury last season but no-one suggested it was that serious. Last I read during the close season he had been released by S****horpe and was (or so he claimed) choosing from a number of Championship clubs and top Div One clubs competing for his services. Is he still injured? He's not the type I can see going abroad, except possibly to the US. What a waste. Played for England at every level up to u-19 and captained his country. Now finished at 22? Talk about being badly advised!
Currently a free agent, which im very surpised about as he would get in most league 1 teams! But he has always had a very big ego and a bad attitude towards football so maybe this will give him the kick up the ass that he needs and to relise he isnt as good as he thinks he is !!
I wouldn't be surprised if he's had some offers from league 1/2 sides, but his idiot family are in his ear telling him to wait for barca. Glad everyone gets to see his family now. Remember those mongs years ago in legends. Don't watch the show, but assured they are as vile now as they were then. Only a matter of time before daddy wright turns up, and that will be a treat for you all!!!
Without discussing the stories on why he left(as I only know the rumours like most, but do believe then), purely on their behavior at times, it was embarrassing. Everyone would be having a few pints, you would have Kish and Rommedahl walking around being polite and then have the Wright family propping up the bar giving it the large one. Etiquette wasn't something they were familiar with. The rubbed a lot of people the wrong way- from the bar staff to the big wigs.
Ok mate - thanks. Persona non-grata then in my book. Unforutnately you see those types every day in this country- unlike most other countries.
How would JA know that. He thought Bowyer was a saint. I wouldn't know if he is in bad company. Who would. Most of us only here rumour and it seems wrong to say such things.
wrights friends with jade goody husband jack tweed and it was him who made him hand in transfer request what i lead to believe so yes good player but have him back no thanks he only do the dirty on the club again
He was recently at the Valley and interviewed by Charlton Live, listen here! http://www.charltonlive.co.uk/?p=806
I looked into Josh Wright myself the other day and saw he'd been one of a number of players released by Scunthorpe in the summer yet had failed to sign for a new club. I'd definitely say this was at the players wish who obviously thinks he's better than League One and possibly the Championship now
