According to Dan KP we’ll listen to offers for Emerson, Doherty and Reguilon. Conte wants new fast and aggressive WBs - not sure where the speed and aggression from Sess is tbh but hey ho. If there are good offers for Tanganga and Sanchez we’ll sell. Especially as that’d then mean we’d go in for Bastoni and Bremer. Winks ( ), Rodon and Bergwijn are likely to leave as they want first team football.
Colin ,tell me after scoring 4 against Bristol Rovers were you happy at Tottenham or did this anger begin when you joined the Chavs
That takes me back! I had a bright yellow Renault 17TS around that time. Went like **** off a shovel, but was a plod-magnet - especially in the hands of a daft 22 year old! I particularly remember running the gauntlet up the M1/M6 corridor for a game against Villa!
Apparently Bremer to Inter is getting close, which likely paves the way to move fully for Bastoni, as Inter will be in need of incoming cash.
In terms of Inter and raising cash, Inzaghi has reportedly told the Inter brass that Martinez is going nowhere ...so, he's saying that Barella is?
Translated from Italian but Matteo Moretto says Perisic’s renewal with Inter is about to fall. Conte’s Spurs are very interested. All over this one. As I’ve said before, Perisic has been a favourite of mine for some time so would love seeing him in a Spurs shirt. Won’t be a long term signing but still has that immediate quality to bring to the team/ squad for a year or so. About time we sign a Croatian too.
Bastoni Watch Football BSider claim we'll be submitting our opening offer for Bastoni this weekend It's reasonably safe to assume we'll be submitting it next Wednesday, then...
Bastoni Watch Alasdair Gold suggests Inter won't accept anything lower than £51m (aka €60m) for Bastoni Selling Bergwijn will likely cover a significant chunk of that on its own, just saying...
Marca claim that we rejected Valencia's offer to take Bryan Gil on loan next season, as if he does go on loan we want it to be to a team in the CL or EL Presumably not Club Brugge, Shakhtar Donetsk or G Fuel Vienna - although there's hope for Man Utd or Arsenal...
According to Sami Mokbel - Ivan Perisic, Adama Traore, Richarlison and Allan Saint-Maximin are on our list of targets. 3 of them can get in the bin.
I wouldn't take any of them tbh. Perisic maybe on a modest contract as he has huge experience and would add quality to the squad, but the other 3 are vastly overrated. The kind whose end of season highlights reel looks ridiculous but then you actually watch them across a 90min game and wonder what all the fuss is about.
Said already I’d take Perisic all day long. Still a quality player, better than any LWB we have and if we also signed Kostic we can chuck Perisic on the right seeing as he is naturally right footed, despite the fact I’d say he has one of the best left pegs in the game. Perisic and Kostic knocking in crosses? Harry will be in heaven. The other 3 agree, overrated. Two of them are outright ****, the other is decent but the biggest diver in the game, know for a fact I’d get massively wound up watching him on a regular basis - I do now and I only catch glimpses.
Amusing to see so many players touted as signings, whose transfer fees are exactly in the range where some have bemoaned that Spurs have had less than stellar success in recent times ...
The BBC reporting on Forster: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61611553 Seems unusual for them to be claiming a done deal before it's announced.
We should be used to it, half the media/ journalists generally announce our deals before our OS, by the time we actually announce a signing the fans have lost the excitement and are already waiting for the next one
