Evening lads, Liverpool fan here. First of all, congratulations on your win today! You seem to be doing really well in the Championship and could do very well this season. Anyway, what's happening with Peter Gulacsi? As i'm sure you are aware, my club (Liverpool) loaned you Peter for the season. I noticed that he played the first few games of the season but hasn't played since. Why isn't he playing? Is he injured or is it something else?
Played **** against Leeds and then Basso are other keeper came in and grabbed his chance by playing really good since. Dont see him getting any chance soon
He's complete and utter ****, it was the final nail in his coffin when he conceeded 4 to ****ing Leeds!
Cheers for the replies! Erm... Peter signed a contract extension just before he left to go on loan to you. We sent him out to get some games and he isn't getting them which is disappointing for us. Liverpool clearly rate him highly so it's a bit disappointing that you all think he's not good enough!
Yeah he had a mare against Leeds and due to Basso's form he hasn't had a chance since. Can only see him playing in the cup or if Basso gets injured.
Nobody has seen enough of him at Hull to really judge. He looked poor in the games he played but if we had been able to let him settle in the side he may have come good. Basso was able to take his chance though and we can't risk taking the place of him now.
Flapped at crosses in the early games and didnt show enough to command his area. Non starter for a CCC team so defo a non entity for a Prem team
I've seen enough to make my mind up on him. I've watched him play and warm up before matches and he's just not up to scratch. His handling is awful for a Championship keeper, he flaps at crosses and his communication is beyond poor. The sooner we get rid of him the better! I'd much rather we used Oxley as back-up to be quite frank.
Agree with this. He had one good game and one average game at the beginning of the season but he absolutely messed up the in the 3rd game (single-handedly gave away 2 or 3 goals against our biggest rivals) Basso took over and has been brilliantly reliable ever since. Gulacsi will probably get his next game in the FA CUP assuming you don't recall him before then. He's obviously a good keeper or Kenny wouldn't have him on the bench for you for half of last season but it's just not happened for him here yet.
After he had a complete mare at Leeds, I understand that we told Liverpool that he wouldn't be starting for us and asked if they wanted to take him back and loan him out elsewhere, but they declined. He'll only get a game for us if Basso gets injured and having been at the Leeds game, I pray that Basso never gets injured.
He's gash. He doesn't command his area, he flaps, he palms the ball into dangerous areas. He's a million miles from making a premier league team.
