Agree it is alot, especially on such a volatile market. Manning had been odds on but drifted out to 4/1 after the false Ainsworth reports had made him even money. So 25k to win 100k and return 125k. I have no idea what money has gone on the candidates at other bookies , only know this one from a friend who still works at head office for William Hill . Hopefully he gets to hear of more money going on him, and if so I'll relay it here !
Manning is now 5/1 with William Hill. If someone really did have 25k on at 4/1 he most certainly would not have drifted a point in a market that would not stand that kind of bet. I question your information though having backed Manning I do hope he takes the role.
He was 4/1 at the time of the bet, and odds fluctuate depending how much money has been placed on all participants. If more money has been placed on Ainsworth overall then all other parties will naturally drift accordingly. While 25k on one person is a large bet it is relatively small in comparison to say 30 bets of 5k on someone else at 6/4.
Seeing Michael Beale linked heavily by some bookies, but zero media about him, which makes me think it's more likely. Had to Google him. Sounds like a fascinating potential appointment.
He's favourite to be the new Charlton boss, I think he's only in some lists because his name is floating about. I don't honestly think he's on our radar, but could be wrong.
Although he must have something about him as Michelle Collins, Tamzin Outhwaite, Hannah Waterman, Laurie Brett and Letitia Dean have all married him, and great business acumen!
https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/aston-villas-beale-a-contender-for-qpr-job I beat WLS to it! I like the look of his CV. As someone who is still annoyed Warburton was not renewed, this is the sort of appointment that will help me to move on and look forward to next season.
Getting a bit tedious is all this managerial chat, especially from the bookies! The longer it goes on, the more it seems that we dont have any sort of plan for moving forward at all!! Its becoming a bit of a joke and i think im honestly past caring.
Interesting CV, but little management as a #1 coach. Of course they all have to start somewhere. Would it be the right first role, as a first team coach, to drop into a Championship club with European Champions aspirations.
