Plus the fact we knew what Jose was capable of having won the Europa League at United (with Pogba). We don't need him winning a lesser european trophy to show us anything.

Unfortunately by the end, mentally he was going through an emotional breakdown, that's what done for him.

We were the job he coveted for years, i truly think that if Gill had still been CeO he would have been a massive success.

I never really got it. The job he coveted the most but he never EVER looked or sounded happy. Like I said, mentally it broke him. I think you're right about Gill, it may have made the difference.

We all knew what Jose was capable of before he set foot into OT...there was nothing he could do that would have shown us anything we didn't already know having watched him achieve bigger things at other clubs

Your beloved United got you embracing that lesser trophy next season btw

You knew all that but you didn't back him because you're sense of entitlement made you believe that you were much better than you actually were as was proven in the subsequent seasons and you're still finding out up until the last game of the season gone.

Him winning a trophy proves nothing regards United...I don't think I said that it did.

A united fan desperately searching for an excuse to undermine Mourinho's achievements(a regular occurrence ever since his tenure at United)..that phenomenon...and its roots was the angle of discussion tbh
