I had my season ticket in there for years when it first opened, it was always labelled the 'home' end. It's strange seeing it not as full as it once was. Those lower blocks are always last to go for some reason.
What was the early bird price by the way? Just occurred to me I'd probably pay a one off £200 or so just to get early access to away games
Spoken with Chris Waters. He's said the club is looking to re-introduce the membership scheme for fans who aren't able to get season tickets, which may allow members to buy discounted tickets etc for a certain number of games, which would act a bit like my proposal. Sounds good.
I will be away ( not prison ) half August and September, debating whether it will be worth a SC or just doing individuals.
I emailed the club with that suggestion a few years back and they said it would be too difficult as everyone would want different matches etc etc. I worked shifts at the time and couldn’t commit to being there for every game. They could do with finding a way of helping people in this kind of position who want to commit but can’t justify forking out in the knowledge that they’ll inevitably miss half of the games anyway
In MLS in America some clubs do 'flex packs' where you buy 6 or 10 vouchers that can be exchanged for any game subject to availability. Gets you some priority behind full season ticket holders.
He gets through some work him mind & is always helpful / keen to introduce positive solutions. the club need to make sure we dont miss any angles while were heading in a positive direction, get it right now & we could potentially return to attendances at this level like under reidy when SOL first opened
He certainly is. I hope some of the recruitment in the summer is to have a couple more like him on board to help him (and the fans) out with any issues.
I will be buying any mugs, scarfs, etc for the championship i will buy a shirt if Mitrovic or Clarke-harris is signed !
Come on SAFC fans let’s push towards the 30,000 sold , over 27,000 already sold said it would be excellent if we could better 27,700 which was Sheffield United Average crowd last year which was the best in the division - raised the bar due to the uptake already achieved . Come on SAFC fans send out a message we are the biggest and best supporters in the Championship and really get behind our club , the more season tickets sold the more money towards the clubs budget .
