I'd say he's the best since I've been watching regularly... But I can't comment on players from the 20thC competently. Since about 2003, when my viewing really got frequent, he doesn't have much competition. Glen Johnson was OK. Finnan and Arbeloa were both good though. Milner is a footballing God, but not really a rightback, he just plays there occasionally. I don't think we've had any other competent Right Backs in the last 20 years other than those have we? We have a pair of good fullbacks now, but historically over the last twenty years it's a spot we've been thin on talent for. (Compared to other positions)
