He should have resigned earlier he knew what went on, and lied to parliament on numerous occasions, he’s a serial liar. However the Tory party wanted to wait for the conclusion of the police investigation, and the police report , they are now saying it was in the past and we should move on. They can’t have it both ways, ie wait for these two reports and then claim we should move on because these incidents were in the past.

The reports states there was lack of political leadership from the top, junior staff, some of which were fined, believed they were within the rules because Boris and other senior figures were aware what was going on and didn’t try to stop it . I dislike Maggie intensely, but can you imagine this behaviour going on when she was PM, because I can’t.

That is the crux of the argument/ point being made/mis interpreted say whatever you like as a description........... he has maintained the same storyline throughout, never changed it, but admitted he was wrong .... never stayed more than minutes at event ... even the latest 4 pictures are ambiguous ... picture taker moved 4 times to take them ... could have been taken in a minute or 2 but less than 3? presented in a different way can be to the multitude a long winded event!
    WHY HASNT STARMER RESIGNED?

Here you go. You can choose which of these sources to believe - or you can choose to believe none.
It doesn’t matter anyway if you don’t care about being lied to..!

Anyway, I know no amount of evidence will convert you - or other BJ lovers. He still has a lot of support.
All I can do is state how I feel and why I feel it.

Sue grays report, not mine, states lack of political leadership from the top. I assume she understands, possibly even better than you, how Downing Street works?

If your still defending him even now you aren’t likely to listen to reason. Sue grey’s was an independent report and it lambasted Boris. But you believe what you like, don’t let the facts get in the way.

As per my other post on the other thread; you won’t change peoples minds - they don’t see beyond it being a beer and a piece of cake.

so it is a crime to change your mind and in doing so you [OR THEY should be] label [led] them as a liar, in my lifetime I have changed my mind dozens of times ... especially about the way forward in life, does that make me a liar ...NO, PRETTY CLEVER when I look back!
I have had dozens of mates / friends who had changed their minds over different things ... do I regard them as liars ... NO, just respect their choice.

Of course it’s not a crime to change your mind - and what BJ did there wasn’t a crime either - but to me it stinks of opportunism and I don’t trust him. You seem to trust him - that’s great for you. It must be very relaxing going to bed every night safe in your belief that our country is being led so well.
Me - I just wonder what new ****up I’m going to wake up to and will he try and lie his way out of trouble again and what other scandal will come to light next.

Well thats the difference between PMA & NMA. My PMA is pretty strong, I look at facts and make decisions based on them. I have done some pretty hairy and dangerous things in my life, and now way past my 3 score and 10. Dwelling on negativity never been trait of mine. Look back over time and history is weighted down with fibs/ cons/scandals /etc go to bed worrying about the negative aspects of life will certainly have detrimental affects

Nothing wrong with changing your mind, but if you say things that aren’t true, well what word would you use?

They were all at it and it's further distanced the mugs that we are from politicians of all parties who repeatedly broke rules.

Or did they know all along that the lockdowns were just a power trip over the population at large, and they all knew that not socially distancing at their own parties they would come to no harm ?

It makes no difference where the staff enter and leave, many of the gatherings Boris attended, so he was aware they were taking place. Watch panorama where staff who were there give their own accounts. BORIS KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON,

if for sake of argument you accept he did know, do you still believe he did nothing wrong?,

No I didnt miss it you stated political leader had a lack of ... but what is the full context of that line/ sentence/paragraph in the report? ... choosing bits is how disproportionate " rumours/ misinformation" starts!!!!

She said many of the events shouldn’t have taken place and states lack of political leadership one of the reasons they did.
