A mate of mine, who doesn't support Sunderland, texted me after the game saying that going up through the playoffs is the best way to do it. I think he's right. You get the added excitement of the semis and, if things go your way, the big day out.
That was brilliant. I totally missed Alex Neil joining in "by far the greatest team......" singing at the end. Brilliant
Simple: Choosing before the event, absolutely no brainer, automatic. Choosing after the event, play off, wouldn't have missed that day for the world!
That bloke is a prize bell end!!! With his squeaky voice and his timeless rants about 'A big club' and 'If they want to see attacking football go an watch Oxford' what a c**k!!!
Got a feeling I may have seen you inside in the back bit as our Lee was scouring the menu for yet more food. I was the same as you with the bit i put in bold, I only spoke to Smug and Stortford and felt very self conscious approaching them even though I knew their faces and even more so asking faces I did t know of they were on here, daft really but I did enjoy seeing so many people just relaxed and enjoying the sunshine
I was sat just on the left as you went through the partition into the back room Ann and her friend sat against the wall, friend's husband sat by the partition and I was sat on his right
I dont think it as big a deal as we might hope. I am sure we get something like 12% of net profit from semi final and same for final. Most goes to all other clubs in efl as some kind of solidarity payment I think. Not sure about sky money mind.
I know that there are some on here who haven't a good word to say about Wycombe and our manager, but overall I have seen massive mutual love and respect from both sets of fans, and it is genuine. You have a lot of new fans now from Wycombe, hoping to see you progress back to the Premiership.
