Typical mag rag. They honestly can't help it. They have to look for faults or something negative just to make themselves and the mag fan base feel better about themselves.

Read it wish I hadn't bothered, didn't say anything a 12 year old with an interest in football couldn't have worked out for themselves.
Making print inches for the sake of it.

We will be the best supported team in the championship by about 10,000 a game, have the best stadium for starters, Alex will get in the right players and won't settle for mid table. and no Soton or Plymouth trips, possible Huddersfield/nott f, sheff u, Wigan, Hull, Burnley, rotherham, Preston, blackburn and of course the Boro so some canny trips next season.

Didn't read as slighting us to me - but it was hardly red hot news either.

It was stating the obvious just to make a news story for people who don't follow Sunderland closely and for fans of other clubs, but even for fans it was nice to have in one place a reminder of who was on loan and who had a contract ending.

At the end of the day I acknowledge that somehow they have to create stories to fill column inches.
