The Supercoppa Italiana, Italy's charity shield equivalent, will be contested by Milan and Inter. As they share a stadium the venue for it is obvious: Saudi Arabia.
I read somewhere that the winning group, headed by Boehly, thought that the club was significantly undervalued and was worth anything up to £7 billion. Unless there's half of Abramovic's ill-gotten gains buried under the pitch, or there's going to be another try at a ESL, they're ****ing nuts.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/mikeoz...-soccer-teams-barcelona-on-top-at-48-billion/ and that was in 2021.
What ****ing moron wrote that? Martin Ozanian (obvs.), but come on... Chelsea's debt value @ 0%...? ****ing hilarious.
At one point I was coming to terms with Liverpool winning the first ever domestic Treble - with a good chance of converting it to a Quadruple - and reconciling myself to the fact that although this would undoubtedly make them the most successful team in English football history, with an achievement which could only ever be equalled, but never bettered, they are at least achieving it on merit due to a fine manager and not through abusing FFP...,,. Then City scored 3 goals in 6 minutes and realising that this might be the lesser of two evils, enjoyed the Schadenfreude for a short while before I had to concede that this was just a f***ing no win situation. And unlike the last time Utd were utter shyte, there was no consolation of regular F.A. Cup success. Just F.A. I hope you enjoyed your day - I know you did. Football, bloody hell
City beating Liverpool is a win for us, a small but important one. Liverpool are on 19 League titles, we are on 20 it would not be great for them to catch us

I brought a bottle of champagne to toast the Cubs clinching a postseason spot for the first time in 39 years in 1984, which they happened to do in Pittsburgh. There were probably less than 5,000 fans there, most Cubs fans who had travelled from Chicago. I enjoyed toasting them, but had no desire to join the few hundred who ran onto the field. A wise person once observed that in France, the government is afraid of the people. In the US, the people are afraid of the government. Home fans running onto the field to celebrate may or may not be tolerated, but visiting fans doing so are inviting a good clubbing from the cops, which they got. I did notice my champagne bottle bobbing around among them, though. God knows why. It must have been empty. On the other hand, the fans in the stands got along just fine.
Any chance they will be retrospectively banned from competitions. Such as (picking one at random) Champions League 2019?
1, Some basic data analytics dimensioning would easily show whether the % of Poool sufferers is (not) statistically due to chance 2. Perhaps there is a severe brain/lung oxygen drop caused by the rapid drop in altitude experienced during diving
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61493522 Very interesting read. Our section was 100% written by @Dier Hard Chuffed at how many rival fans have said Son is the one player they wish they could sign.
