City fans were desperate for success but now they've achieved it several times 'off the shelf', they're kind of indifferent to the buzz of it all. Like it's just meh to them now. It's what happens when you sell your soul. The ownership, the stadium, the players. Where's the connection to past history.
Theres levels to this game Peej That crowd of millions was there cos we won stuff mate This is because you finished 16th please log in to view this image 16th
You forgot the fa cup and league Cup. And maybe our 7th European Cup. Literally not one **** here can bants me
Too ****ing right. Proper passion. Had the chance to get into the pitch. But isn’t my thing so made my usual trip home. can’t describe what it’s like to you unfortunately
You should avoid relegation by the skin of your teeth every season then cos usually you just boo and try to punch opposition players
Well no But there should be cos so far I laughed off Peej, bluey, trebs and some horse puncher and it's bordering on #bullying now and no one wants to see that.
There's a difference between turning up to a game knowing you're likely to win the league and feeling genuinely connected to the club and all its ever stood for. There'll be more ppl turning up for the parade than those pictures show but there's not any historical reference and that breeds apathy which is why they'll never get the numbers United or Livpl will attract. When you turn up to a bus parade for winning a league title, it isn't just that generation of players and their success but how they link to padt success and history of the club.
City are building theirs. Don’t panic, a new generation of fans will come through to replace the dads/grandads who remember
