    I agree he does write rubbish. He should give it a rest, particularly as we're hardly in a great situation ourselves (and even if we were doing well, he should still give it a rest).

    I take no offense to it. I'm not into the whole rivalry thing anyway - always seems a bit unseemly to me really - just no idea who you were talking about.

    Actually - I find him very amusing. BUT - I've only been on your site once (ref the Norwich thread which was about someone else) so don't know what he gets up to when he's not at home (so to speak).

    I don't think there's any mystery - you'll find that it's most of the posters on this site aren't that much into a big rivalry thing. That's not the same on other sites and the old BBC site was riddled with wummers from both teams. Some of them have moved to The News - some evil postings on there.

    I can assure you that I have never cared about the rivalry and never will do. I find most rivalries in football petty and unseemly. Not my scene.

    Got my tickets for the Forest game - will definitely be at the Leicester game and am thinking I should get tickets for December 18th before they sell out.

    Oh, of course I want to beat Southampton! I just don't buy into hatred which is sometimes associated with rivalries in football or pretty much any other sport.

    Definitely! going to need everyone we can get that day I think. Make Fratton into a fortress again at least for one game.

    It has gone to far in the past. I'm sure we all have mates from the 'other side' and it's just banter. My point the team needs Pompey fans at their passionate best more than ever and there doesn't seem to be the same fire we once had. Just an observation.
