Guessed it might have been nail-biting. As ever I had to switch the radio off from half time onwards. Switched on again at 5pm with everything firmly crossed.
Think you were watching a diff game they didnt win a header all game once they pushed up it was clear we would win
we're thinking of you Gordon...it's always good to see you...would be lovely to see you feeling better *big hugs*
You're right, the crowd were nervous, but had every reason to be, after the season we've been having. But the noise levels were high most of the way through, which is a good indication that the Watford crowd suddenly found some belief, nervous as we were. I couldn't do that! lol
Thanks as ever, Norway. just read Matt Rowson- early goal = A Good Thing. And just in case Roo was wondering which game I was watching, I wasn't. Just had 5 Live on as always on saturday, with occasional goal updates. It's often agonising, especially going into the last 10 mins with a one goal lead. Can't have 3CR, Mrs GG won't have it, and anyway I still can't bear not being able to see the game to judge for myself what's going on. Suppose I should investigate internet video, but somehow resent paying. Stupid, I pay to go to a game. Are there any free options without risking computer health?
GG you can get a few games by signing up to some of the betting companies like Bet 365! and a host of others , you may have to download Sopcast as well! When were at home it is sometimes hard to find a stream , when were away it seems a lot easier! The only downside is you have to register ! Other than that try googling watford v whoever livestream and see what you can find! There are a few good live stream sites around just finding then sometimes takes a little time! Myp2p which has moved from .net to .eu is another good one but requires a one off payment! ,,that will get you most sports globally Hope some of this is of use to you! and am sure other folk will let you know some more good ideas! All the best GG
Sweet Jesus what have we done to deserve a vista from a dirty weeds tramp at 02.00 in the morning - obviously the ripper has nothing better to do..or his mum was asleep
Excellent win yesterday, a nail biting second half but very pleased to come away with the three points. The new changes to the squad seemed to play well together. Hodson and Nosworthy had good games, some good passing forward and some vital tackles. Was disappointed with Dickinson who seemed to have his hands full covering the Posh winger who repeatedly got the better of him. The Prince provided some good creative play in midfield and Sordell worked hard. All in all a much better home performance since the Palace game. One concern still was the space given to the opposition, the Hornets seemed to give them too much time and failed to close them down when the Peterborough came forward. Some things still to work on. COYH!
i do think it was a major achievement to not concede in 45 minutes having gone ahead. Well done to the boys in yellow
Tuesday will be a different game again, but hopefully we can get a good atmosphere going again, coz it was very good yesterday, and that will help the team stay up for it and ready
